Looking into the genre we looked at what we thought would be an ideal song and style that would allow us to comprise our teams individual techniques to give us the best looking video. We also looked for a song which was perfect for the genre and it all lead to us looking at the killers. there style of story line along side a band performance which is the true representation of the genre and what we really want to explore. so we looked into some killers songs
The killers have many classic songs, along with 'when you were young', 'somebody told me' and 'smile like you mean it'. But the one which is by far the biggest is Mr Brightside. We chose this because we wanted a song with many underline tones behind the lyrics which could be explored through many aspects of the video. not only the storyline side but also the costumes, lighting and perception of the members of the band.
As we have explored through this pop rock genre we have seen a tone of some light story behind a band performance. but we want to explore more through the bands individual style before deciding what we want to do.
