Planning - change of location

So we've come into some complications with our plan of filming at a barn, the one we found was good and we thought it would be perfect for filming, we had clearance from the farmer that we could use it. then a week before we were meant to film we had it taken away due to the farmer being unsure that we would have insurance to film there. we obviously understood the issue that was present and excepted the fact that it was not going to happen due to the problems of insurance. instead we came up with a back up plan which allowed us the same idea but in a different location. instead of a barn we could use a Drama Hall we knew off which had also had performance lighting. this lighting would be perfect for the lights we wanted on the singer and also it could then be used to light the performance. This would give us the same desired effect from the Performance that we would get at the barn.

The plan for the Hall is to perform as before but instead us the seating stand as a feature which would be empty. This will then only become evident at the end of the performance. this is almost empathetic as they cant even find a crowd to perform to. Also the use of nobody being there will increase the motive of the main character being insane. A constant display of emptiness and blankness through the life of someone who has so much going through his life. the blankness and plain backgrounds only display how the character is lonely and their mind has nothing else in it but the song and the feelings he gets from the song. This is what his life has come to, only the break up exists. The same shots will be used throughout the performance and the same angles will be done with some added ones also as we can use to full advantage the lights and stand.

so to conclude there are some simple changes in the location and what we are going to do, otherwise everything will remain the same as in the way we will shoot and the performance being filmed. I shall report on how the day went after we have shot it.
